XMedius Fax - How to access Inbound/Outbound History

Summary

This procedure will show you how to access the inbound/outbound history of all faxes related to numbers you are assigned to.

Note: You will need to have an account within XMedius to send a fax via Email.

 

Procedure

  1. Access the XM Fax Web Portal at the following address: https://portal.xmedius.com/clintoncommunitycollege
  2. For inbound history: After signing into the portal, the "Inbound History" tab should be selected by default - if not, click on "Inbound History" on the left-hand side.

  3. For inbound history (Deleted Items): Click on "Inbound History" on the left-hand side, then click "Deleted" under the search bar.

  4. For outbound history: After signing in, the "Inbound History" tab should be selected by default - if not, click on "Inbound History" on the left-hand side.

  5. For outbound history (Deleted Items): Click on "Outbound History" on the left-hand side, then click "Deleted" under the search bar.

Additional Notes

  • Faxes are maintained for 30 days after send/receive and cannot be retrieved after this that point.
  • Faxes can be downloaded to the user's desktop via the XMedius Portal and can be reprinted by opening the downloaded PDF and printing as usual. 
  • If you delete a fax, it will not be available in either queue. 
    • To retrieve a deleted fax within 30 days, please submit a ticket at IT@clinton.edu.
