Summary
This guide will cover how to send a fax from your email client. This should only be done for documents that do not contain PHI or other sensitive information.
Note: You will need to have an account within XMedius to send a fax via Email.
Procedure
- Within your email client (Outlook, Outlook for Web), create a new email.
- In the "To" field, type in the recipient's fax number, followed by "@xmedius.com"
- Example: "5185621234@xmedius.com"
- In the subject line, type in a relevant subject that will appear on the fax's subject line.
- Attach any document you want to fax as an attachment to the email.
- In the body, type any relevant information that you feel needs to be on the cover page.
- Note: Any text in the body will be placed on the cover page.
- Click "Send" like you would with any other email.
